At a pivotal high-level event titled “Gross Human Rights Violations Due to the Aggression Against Ukraine”, Katya Pavlevych, delivered a powerful address during the panel on Violations of the Rights of the Child.

She spotlighted the forcible deportation of Ukrainians by Russia, with a particular focus on the plight of Ukrainian children. Her speech underscored the severe human rights violations stemming from the ongoing conflict.

The event also featured significant contributions from global leaders. Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba urged UN member states to rally in defense of the UN Charter, emphasizing the critical need for unity

‍UN Secretary-General António Guterres reiterated the urgency of international solidarity, advocating for robust support of the recently launched $5.6 billion UN humanitarian appeal for Ukraine. He stressed the importance of adhering to international law for achieving a sustainable peace.
