The Voices of Freedom press conference aimed to discuss the boundary between ethical standards of impartiality and accuracy of journalism and human values when covering the topic of the Russian war against Ukraine. In 2022, numerous problems of morale and ethics opened up. How to work with representatives of both sides of the war? Is there such a need? How to provide the truth? And many more new dilemmas for the media and journalists emerged during the course of the russian full-scale war against Ukraine.
Ukrainian voices have been silenced by Russian propaganda for years and were invisible for the international audiences. The full-scale war has changed it, the need for Ukrainian view is in demand now. But many challenges rise with this: where to find and with whom to speak, who is relevant? At the press conference Ukrainian PR Army raised an issue of the current hybrid war is the key to fighting with russian disinformation and delivering the truth.
